Shipping company UPS Canada of Mississauga has signed an agreement with Alpine Canada Alpin to become a presenting sponsor and official courier of the Whistler World Cup ski competition. The event will take place in Whistler, BC from Feb. 21 to 24. The deal includes signage on the course and the presence of UPS-uniformed promotional workers. "This is part of our commitment to Canadian sport and specifically to alpine skiing, which has grown immensely over the past 10 years," said Greg Kane, vice-president of communications for UPS Canada. "This sponsorship is a natural fit because, much like UPS, skiing is all about precision, speed and accuracy."
