McMaster resumes Canada's Next Top Ad Exec contest

McMaster University in Hamilton, ON has resumed a contest called "Canada's Next Top Ad Exec" at its DeGroote School of Business. The competition is open to undergraduate business or commerce students and MBA candidates. The participants will develop an advertising campaign for Mitsubishi Motors with a focus on new media. Entries will be accepted online at <http://www.topadexec.com> until Jan. 25. Ten semi-finalists will be selected to proceed to the final round of the contest on March 25. The winners will receive Mitsubishi Lancers, while the other finalists will be eligible for internships at BBDO and the Canadian Marketing Association. "The DeGroote School of Business focuses on experiential learning," said Mandeep Malik, a lecturer at the DeGroote School of Business. "Canada's Next Top Ad Exec gives students extraordinary opportunities to test out their marketing talents on a real world project that has very real rewards."
