Sherway Gardens turns roof into display screen
By Adnews Staff
Toronto shopping centre Sherway Gardens is testing a new display system that uses the building's 24,000 square-foot tented rood as a projection screen. The system consists of 24 computer-controlled light fixtures, six projectors and six cameras. Images displayed on the roof are visible inside and outside the building. The system is currently being used to display a five-minute film by Michaele Jordana called "Winter Sky," but according to the mall, it is also considering using the ceiling to display advertisements. Sherway Gardens is owned by Cadillac Fairview.
