Mabe Canada retains National Public Relations

National Public Relations of Toronto has been appointed public relations agency of record for Mabe Canada. The company manufactures, distributes and markets GE Appliances products in Canada.National will develop public relations programs for the company's brands, which include GE, GE Profile and GE Monogram, in an effort to "re-energize" the brand and improve relationships with retailers. The firm will also participate in an integrated marketing campaign in support of a new product line that will launch next month. National won the account in a competitive process involving and unknown number of additional agencies. "We want to partner with National because of their track record in marketing lifestyle brands, as well as their solid understanding of the GE brand in appliances," said Philippe Meyersohn, general brand manager at Mabe Canada.
