Mabe Canada hires BBDO Toronto

Mabe Canada has retained BBDO Toronto as its advertising agency of record. Mabe is the Canadian manufacturer, distributor and marketer of GE Appliance products. The agency will work to increase the visibility of GE brands in Canada. These include GE Profile and GE Monogram. "We chose BBDO Toronto because of their holistic technique in approaching a creative campaign" said Philippe Meyersohn, general brand manager at Mabe Canada. "We are confident that with their understanding of our consumers, customers and product lines, BBDO will play a key role in making happen the vision and growth agenda behind the GE Appliance brand portfolio." Proximity Canada will also work on the account, handling relationship marketing, direct marketing and interactive services.
