Specialty advertising association changes name

The Montreal-based Specialty Advertising Association of Canada has rebranded itself as Promotional Product Professionals of Canada. The change is intended to better reflect the activities of the association, which represents distributors and suppliers of promotional products, premiums, incentives and specialty advertising. The rebranding also includes a new logo and a new website at <>. "This new name and logo will help to position our industry to reflect the value we offer our members and their customers," said Ed Ahad, chairman of the organization. "This new brand focuses on people as professional problem solvers and advisors, which is the value-added our members bring to the communications business. The new name will encourage buyers of promotional products to think of our members as trusted advisors, capable of delivering effective communications programs, rather than simply providing products."
