SECOND HAND SMOKE COMPARED TO CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Secondhand smoke is no more harmful than drinking water and eating cookies. That's the message U.S.-based Philip Morris is trying to get across with a European print campaign beginning this week. The print ads will cite research that eating pepper, drinking chlorinated water and eating cookies can pose a higher health risk than secondhand tobacco smoke. The ads will also promote results from a survey that says Europeans don't want government officials adopting laws that govern smoking in public places.
