Insight Sports hires Purcell

Toronto-based Insight Sports has appointed Craig Purcell to the newly-created position of president of the sports and entertainment division. He will lead the company's activities in the areas of sports management, sales, marketing and production. Purcell has spent the past three years as vice-president of sales and marketing for the Oakland Raiders. He has also been a corporate management consultant to the Minnesota Timberwolves basketball team, vice-president of sales and marketing for the Ottawa Renegades and Ottawa Rebels, and manager of strategic corporate and technology accounts for the Ottawa Senators.
