New president, CEO at GroupM Canada

David Campbell has been appointed to the newly-created position of president and chief executive officer of GroupM Canada. GroupM is the parent company of media agencies Maxus, MediaCom, Mediaedge:cia and MindShare. Campbell will oversee the coordination of joint services offered by these companies. He was previously the co-president of MediaCom Canada, a position he will retain during a transition period. Campbell joined MediaCom (then MBS) in 1973 as associate media director. Prior to that, he was at Ogilvy & Mather.
