Boxer Media buys B-Scene Media

Toronto-based Boxer Media has acquired B-Scene Media, an online advertising representation firm also based in Toronto. The two-year-old company specializes in online rich media and video ads, display advertising, sponsorships and email marketing. No financial details are available. "As a division of Boxer Media we effectively provide one-stop shopping for all Canadian marketers looking to build their brands," said Brian Fields, president of B-Scene Media. "With the synergies created by print and on-line and the quality and reputation of our combined portfolio, we can help advertisers quickly, effectively and efficiently reach their targets." Boxer Media represents a number of consumer magazines in Canada, including Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Fast Company, Good Housekeeping, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Redbook, Town & Country and Veranda, as well as various websites.
