OKIDATA USING CANADIAN PR
By Adnews Staff
Okidata is using a Canadian public relations agency for the first time. The Communications Group of Toronto won the Canadian account last week in a competition with five other agencies. Okidata's American PR firm, Manning, Salvage & Lee of New York, previously did the job for both the U.S. and Canada. Okidata decided to hire a Canadian firm to reinforce its Canadian presence and to have an agency that understands the Canadian market, says Communications Group founding partner David Eisenstadt. The company handles advertising in-house at its worldwide headquarters in Laurel, New Jersey. Okidata makes PC peripherals such as printers and fax machines.
