New chief marketing officer at SEA Group

The Montreal-based SEA Group has appointed Kathy Van Ness to the position of executive vice-president and chief marketing officer of its Christina and Gottex swimwear divisions. She will oversee design, development, merchandising, marketing and sales for both companies worldwide. Van Ness was most recently executive vice-president of the swimwear group at Warnaco. She has also previously been vice-president and general manager of the Jantzens division at VF Corporations and president of Diane Von Furstenberg.
