Mitsubishi Electric retains The Autumn Group

Toronto-based Mitsubishi Electric of Canada has hired The Autumn Group of Markham, ON as the Canadian advertising agency of record for its HVAC division. The assignment includes branding, advertising, design, relationship marketing and collateral materials, as well as promotions and incentive programs. Autumn Media, a division of the agency, will handle media planning and buying. Autumn will begin work by redesigning the collateral materials for Mitsubishi Electric’s cooling, heating and ventilation systems. A new print ad campaign will follow in the spring. The Autumn Group won the account in a competitive process involving an unknown number of additional firms. “We went with The Autumn Group because they understood how to integrate and synchronize all the different marketing vehicles, whether in print or digital, in a consistent and coherent manner," said Anton Wolmarans, general manager of Mitsubishi Electric Canada. "They also demonstrated that their team could handle strategy and design right through to tactical implementation without missing a beat. The ability to handle our media placement and provide a sound strategy also influenced our decision.”
