Argosy Partners promotes Shotgun Fund

Toronto-based investment company Argosy Partners has begun a campaign in that city to promote its Shotgun Fund product. The campaign, called “I Hate My Partner,” promotes the way in which the fund can help one business partner buy-out another partner in cases where a shotgun clause is in place. The campaign will include street-level marketing, newspaper ads, media relations and online materials. The creative makes use of humour to depict a business as a marriage that has gone bad. “Today’s prudent business owners recognize that in personal or business relationships nothing lasts forever,” said Jim Ambrose, a partner in the fund. “The campaign is a fun way to draw attention to this challenge and how the Shotgun Fund levels the playing field when partners are fighting.”
