Rare Method buys Stone Monkey Media

Calgary-based interactive agency Rare Method has purchased Stone Monkey Media, also based in Calgary. Stone Monkey specializes in Web software development. No financial details are available. “Stone Monkey is a very talented and highly specialized software development team that is ideally suited to Rare Method’s interactive marketing culture,” said Rare Method president Roger Jewett. “We acquired Stone Monkey due to its experience in developing relevant and usable software solutions for a variety of clients.” Stone Monkey’s clients include the Calgary International Film Festival, the University of Calgary, Visions Electronics, Telus World of Science and Hockey Canada.
