NIELSEN CHANGES LOGO

U.S.-based ACNielsen has a new corporate logo that the company says does a better job of communicating what Nielsen does. In the past, there was no graphic attached to the name, it was just spelled A.C. Nielsen. Now there is a globe framing the company initials to signify its universal reach. Ten months ago the company changed its name from Nielsen Marketing Research to ACNielsen. Nielsen is updating its image as it prepares to become a publicly-traded corporation later this year. The company was founded in 1923.
