CanWest MediaWorks promotes McGinley

Toronto-based CanWest MediaWorks Television and Radio has appointed Chris McGinley to the newly-created position of senior vice-president of station operations. She will oversee the operations of all CanWest MediaWorks television and radio stations, including Global Television and CH. McGinley was previously vice-president of television assets for the CanWest MediaWorks Western Region, consisting of nine Global and CH television stations in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Prior to that, she was general manager of Global Television’s Alberta stations.
