PINNACLE MERGES UNITS

U.S.-based Pinnacle Automation has merged its Canadian counterpart into a single division. The materials flow technology company was operating as six units until this month when it brought all its divisions under one roof in Mississauga, Ont. Late last month, Pinnacle gave its ad account to The Howard Promotional and Marketing Group of Toronto which launched a trade campaign this month. Howard was hired without a review because it had done a project for Pinnacle about a month before being hired. In the past, each division had its own agency for advertising. Pinnacle makes palletizers and conveyor systems, robotic transfer technology, materials handling systems, warehouse management software and automated storage and retrieval systems.
