Kokanee campaign begins in Ontario

The Columbia Brewery of Creston, BC has begun an advertising campaign in Ontario to promote the availability of Kokanee beer in that province. The campaign, called "Welcome to Kokanee," depicts the product as the only British Columbia-brewed beer sold in Ontario. The effort includes television, outdoor and poster advertising created by Grip. The creative uses mountain imagery to communicate a lifestyle in association with the beer. A group of promotional workers called the Kokanee Mountain Patrol will also visit a series of locations in Toronto to support the product launch. The campaign began on March 9.
