OgilvyOne Worldwide has launched a new global digital and direct media unit called Neo@Ogilvy. The unit will manage digital media for clients including American Express, Cisco, IBM, Lenovo, Yahoo and Research in Motion. Its purview includes digital advertising, direct mail, email lists, search marketing and any new forms of digital media that might emerge. "Marketing today is all about large numbers of small niche markets where precision targeting and a focus on intercepting and engaging the consumer is a requirement," said Brian Fetherstonhaugh, chairman and CEO of OgilvyOne Worldwide. "Digital media, whether it is delivered through a TV, a PC or a mobile phone, is going to change the advertising industry forever." In Canada, Neo@Ogilvy will be managed by Carolyn Convey, director of digital media. Convey has previously worked at CyberSight and Cossette.
