Child safety campaign begins in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia Health Promotion and Protection has begun a three-year social marketing program aimed at parents with young children. The campaign is intended to motivate parents to improve the health and safety of their children through various small steps. Elements of the campaign will address the issues of healthy eating, physical activity, child safety and second hand smoking. The initiative will make use of television, print, outdoor and online advertising, along with media and public relations efforts. The program also includes a website located at <http://www.momsanddads.ca>. The campaign was developed by Bristol of Halifax.
