MasterCard holds Stanley Cup contest

MasterCard Canada has begun a contest called "Your Crew at the Cup" as part of its ongoing Canadian ad campaign featuring a boy who aspires to a career as a Zamboni driver. Customers who use a MasterCard between March 1 and April 15 will be automatically entered into a draw for one of three trips for four to a 2006 Stanley Cup Finals game in the company of an alumnus of the National Hockey League. The winners will also meet the home team's ice crew and help prepare the ice for a practice day during the finals. The series of four commercials to which this contest is tied broke in December. The third ad in the series is currently in rotation. The final commercial will be released during the playoffs. The ads were created by McCann Erickson.
