Porter Airlines hires directors of marketing, community relations

Toronto-based Porter Airlines has appointed Andrew Pierce to the position of director of sales and marketing. He previously worked at Bombardier Aerospace in sales, marketing, new program development and airline analysis. Debra Newman has been appointed director of human resources and community relations. She has previously worked in similar positions at Bombardier Aerospace, Canada 3000 Airlines and Air Canada. Porter Airlines is a regional passenger carrier that will begin operating this year out of Toronto City Centre Airport. It is a subsidiary of Regco Holdings.
