Canada Post promotes EBay shipping agreement

Canada Post has released a new commercial to promote its new association with online auction service EBay. For the three-year term of the agreement, sellers and buyers using the service can now print and pay for shipping labels through an EBay PayPal account. The television ad promoting this option went into rotation on Feb. 27. The ad, called "Stores," was created by Publicis Canada as part of an ongoing Canada Post campaign called "You'll find it in the mail." The commercial will run nationally in English and French. "Our goal was to help Canada Post demonstrate relevance in an evolving market while creatively showcasing the EBay partnership and highlighting how easy it is to ship using Canada Post," said Duncan Bruce, senior creative director at Publicis Canada. "The spot highlights customers in both urban and rural settings across the country. They conduct business through EBay, but use Canada Post as a fast and efficient means to ship to their customers." Supporting materials include signage on Canada Post vans, online exposure and a shipping kit.
