Garnier holds hook-up contest
By Adnews Staff
Hair care products maker Garnier is conducting a contest called "Hook-up with color" to promote its "100% Color" brand. The contest, which began on Feb. 6 and will run until March 19, consists of poster advertising in the women's washrooms of bars and restaurants in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. The creative invites viewers to send a text message to a number displayed on the posters and accompanying postcards in order to enter the contest. Entrants can then visit the contest website to submit seduction tips involving colour. Weekly winners will have their pictures posted on the site and qualify for the grand prize of a trip of two to Jamaica. The campaign, which is aimed at single women between the ages of 18 and 39, was developed by Publicis of Montreal. The media is from Zoom Mobile of Montreal.
