Montreal orchestra debuts new visual identity

Identica Branding & Design of Montreal has created a new visual identity for the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal. The work included a new logo, a new colour palette and a graphic style. These will be used on all the orchestra's communications materials, including programs posters, advertising and promotional materials. The logo consists of a dark purple square within an orange border, along with the letters OSM in white. "Our goal was ensure a certain degree of continuity with the previous logo while also communicating the new personality and brand essence, specifically the notion of 'Musical Depth,'" said Marie-Josée Desrochers, the orchestra's director of communications and marketing. Identica is part of Cossette Communication Group.
