Toronto-based InterContinental Hotels Group has brought its "Any Hotel, Anywhere" loyalty program promotion to Canada. Under this initiative, members of the company's Priority Club Rewards loyalty program who reside in Canada can redeem their accumulated points for American Express-branded prepaid cards which can be used as payment at approximately 500,000 lodging establishments worldwide. The offer debuted in the U.S. in July 2005. "We're very excited to launch the Any Hotel, Anywhere reward in Canada," said Steve Sickel, the company's senior vice-president of multibrand and relationship marketing. "By rewarding our members with this flexibility, we are confident this will foster greater loyalty and get repeat business." InterContinental Hotels Group operates hotels under the brand names InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge, Candlewood and Hotel Indigo.
