Sympatico/MSN Canada holds ad industry contest

Online service Sympatico/MSN Canada, based in Toronto, has begun an online contest aimed at advertising and marketing professionals called the "Sympatico/MSN Visionary Contest." Participants will compete for prizes in a weekly trivia contest about the company's MSN Hotmail, Messenger and Spaces services. The contest is part of a six-week national trade marketing campaign intended to illustrate the benefits of these services to advertisers. Contestants participate by visiting a website at <http://www.advertise.sympatico.msn.ca> and entering an identification number which the company has distributed to targeted industry professionals. These numbers can also be obtained from company sales representatives. The weekly prizes include a video game console, a GPS unit, a satellite radio package, a remote car starter, hockey tickets and various gift certificates. The contest began Jan. 23 and will run until March 5.
