Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts begins promotional podcasts

The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts has begun producing a bi-weekly podcast as part of its "Go Live Toronto" marketing campaign. The campaign provides information about theatre, dance and opera performances in that city. The digital audio productions can be accessed through the Web at <http://www.golive.ca>. The first installment contains interviews with directors from the 28th annual Rhubarb Festival at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. "Podcasting is an innovative technology that invites the exploration of personal expression," said Jacoba Knaapen, the organization's executive director. "Each podcast will focus on a different theatre company or production, and feature stories and interviews with the artists that have contributed to the creation of the work." The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts is a service organization that represents 160 professional theatre, dance and opera companies in Toronto.
