World Fishing Network signs Izumi as spokesperson

Toronto-based digital specialty channel World Fishing Network has signed a marketing agreement with Canadian angler and media personality Bob Izumi. Izumi will act as the spokesperson for the all-fishing channel, appearing in its station IDs and its marketing and promotional materials. Izumi also hosts a weekly program on the channel called "The Real Fishing Show." He will also participate in an upcoming national consumer contest. "The Bob Izumi brand is one that transcends the fishing industry, and we're excited to work with Bob to let Canadians know about the entertaining and informative programming WFN offers," said Christopher Doyle, marketing vice-president at the channel.
