McMaster resumes marketing internship competition

The DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON will resume its MARS Apprentice internship program for marketing students on Jan. 18. According to the school, MARS stands for Marketing, Advertising, Retail and Sales. Ten students will spend four weeks competing for summer internship positions at Frito Lay Canada, Jan Kelley Marketing and Xerox. The competition will take the form of a weekly challenge posed by one of the participating employers. The students will work in teams to produce a plan that will meet the challenge. At the end of the competition, four of the students will be offered internships.
