Subway holds hockey trivia contest

Fast food chain Subway is conducting a text-message contest related to its sponsorship of the Canadian Hockey League. The promotion, called "SUBtxt Hockey Trivia," was developed by I2I Advertising & Marketing of Vancouver. During the initiative, customers at Subway restaurants will receive ID numbers which can be checked for instant prizes. Customers can also answer hockey trivia questions to be entered into weekly draws and the grand prize draw. Three winners will receive trips for two to the 2006 MasterCard Memorial Cup. Weekly prizes include merchandise from Nintendo, JVC, Via Rail and RBK Hockey. The contest is being promoted with national and regional media. Impact Mobile and Promodem Media are also participating in the conduct of the contest.
