Eucan introduces recycling bin ads in Toronto

Following a 90-day test, outdoor advertising company Eucan of Toronto has added a collection of recycling bin advertising faces to its inventory. The company operates 168 display faces on 84 recycling bins in the Toronto area. "We have made the [recycling stations] very advertiser friendly," said Kevin Golding, the company's director of sales and marketing. "They have the standard 6' by 4' dimensions of panels found on columns and transit shelters worldwide. The great advantage is that, having no surrounding glass enclosure, the ads are not masked by frost, condensation or reflective lighting from either vehicles or sunlight." Advertisers who have booked the new ad faces include the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, Tuborg Beer and Trident.
