Chinook Centre begins billboard campaign in Calgary

Calgary shopping mall the Chinook Centre has begun a holiday season out-of-home campaign in that city. The campaign, which uses the tagline "Don't Rush Christmas," is intended to promote the mall's extended hours and variety of available products. Twenty-two creative executions using a storybook design have been produced by Highwood Communications of Calgary. One ad takes the form of an Advent calendar. Each day in December, a new window in the ad will be opened to expose a gift idea. The campaign will run on 94 of the 111 billboards along a 17.5km stretch of Macleod Trail. The media is from Pattison Outdoor Advertising. Installation began on Nov. 21 and was completed on Dec. 5. The Chinook Centre is managed by Cadillac Fairview.
