Canadian Scooter Corporation promotes Vespa at film festival

The Canadian Scooter Corporation has been conducting a series of street-level events during the Toronto International Film Festival to promote the Vespa scooter. The company is the exclusive Canadian distributor of the vehicle. The campaign involved a number of staged events in which promotional workers pretending to be passers-by lavished praise on a Vespa scooter positioned nearby. During one event, a crowd of screaming young women chased a man on a scooter past a line of people waiting to get into a theatre. The campaign, called "Vesparazzi," was created by Dentsu Canada of Toronto.
