Holmes Creative Communications gains two accounts

Holmes Creative Communications of Toronto has recently gained two clients: the Toronto International Boat Show and the Abilities Festival. The Toronto International Boat Show, now in its 48th year, will include displays of approximately 1,000 marine vehicles of various sizes, plus engine manufacturer displays, boat accessories and a 28,000 square-foot indoor lake. It will take place from Jan. 14 to 22. Holmes won the account in a review that included an unknown number of firms. The agency will develop a public relations campaign intended to raise the profile of the show and increase attendance. Holmes has also been appointed the communications firm of the inaugural Abilities Festival: A Celebration of Disability Arts and Culture. The festival will take place from Oct. 27 to 30 in Toronto. It will feature Canadian and international performing and visual artists, along with an art exhibition, a children's program, videos, workshops, panels and other events. The festival is a project of the Canadian Abilities Foundation.
