The Canadian Internet Registration Authority has retained Toronto-based Fuse Marketing Group to develop a marketing strategy. The Ottawa-based not-for-profit organization manages the dot-ca Internet domain name system for the Canadian government. Fuse won the account in a request-for-proposals process. The agency will now conduct executive interviews and research upon which to base a marketing strategy for the authority to consider for 2006. "CIRA is critical to Canada's Internet infrastructure and landscape and Fuse is very excited about participating in marketing the dot-ca domain," said Adrian Capobianco, the agency's recently-hired interactive vice-president. "We want to help our clients lead their respective industries when it comes to delivering effective and innovative interactive solutions, and the CIRA program is a great opportunity for us to continue to do this."
