Youth Culture Group readies VerveGirl Lounge tour
By Adnews Staff
VerveGirl magazine, published by Youth Culture Group of Toronto, will conduct a series of events at shopping malls next month to coincide with the back-to-school season. During each event, an area called the "VerveGirl Lounge" will be set up at the host mall. Promotional workers will distribute information and samples of the magazine and its male-oriented counterpart, Fuel, along with various product samples supplied by advertisers. The initiative will also include daily contests, special events, celebrity appearances and theme days presented by advertisers. Three events will take place in Ontario, at the Scarborough Town Centre, Square One in Mississauga and the Markville Shopping Centre in Markham. The fourth will be held at Carrefour in Laval, QC. They will be promoted to magazine readers with email advertising. The company expects to make approximately three million impressions on mall customers over the four-week program.
