General Motors holds Great Canadian Adventure contest

General Motors, in association with Rogers Consumer Publishing and M2 Universal, has begun a promotion called the "Great Canadian Adventure" contest. The winner will receive a seven-day trip for four to Alberta, accommodation at three Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, a travel package from Parks Canada and the use of a GM Montana SV6 during the trip. The contest is being promoted with inserts in Chatelaine, Today's Parent, and MoneySense magazines, along with online materials on their websites. The ads direct viewers to <http://www.greatcanadianadventure.com> to enter the draw. This site and the print ads also include road trip activities for children and information on Canadian parks and historical sites. "The seasonally-targeted interactivity achieved in the program will give consumers great information in a fun way and will generate terrific buzz for General Motors," said Chris Emery, sales vice-president for consumer publications at Rogers.
