Green P Parking breaks drinking and driving campaign
By Adnews Staff
The Toronto Parking Authority has begun a public awareness campaign intended to persuade the residents of that city not to drive if they have been drinking. The campaign consists of posters in the washrooms of Toronto bars and restaurants which ask the viewer to rate their alcohol level. One poster displays the word "Cheers" at three levels of increasing fuzziness. The other execution shows three lines of footprints ranging from straight to unbalanced. The copy reads, "Know your limit. And know when to keep it parked." The ads were created by Campbell Michener & Lee of Toronto. The media is from New Ad. The posters will be rotated between 275 display faces until the end of August. "Efforts like these by us and other advertisers will continue to hammer home the message," said Lorne Persiko of Green P Parking. "It just makes sense for a major parking concern to put out a message of this kind."
