HarperCollins hires Sequentia Communications

Sequentia Communications has been retained by book publisher HarperCollins Canada as its digital marketing agency of record. The agency will develop a series of author websites and promotional materials for the company's online marketing efforts. "We've been working with Sequentia for a year on a variety of initiatives, and their ideas and the introductions they've made for us demonstrate that not only do they understand the power of online, they understand our business as well," said Karen Cossar, vice-president of marketing at HarperCollins Canada. "HarperCollins devotes a lot of time and attention to how our authors and titles are marketed online, and we feel that Sequentia has both the knowledge and experience to best assist us with that marketing." HarperCollins imprints in Canada include HarperCollinsPublishers, HarperPerennialCanada, HarperTrophyCanada and Phyllis Bruce Books.
