Ovarian cancer association readies awareness campaign

The Toronto-based National Ovarian Cancer Association has produced a North American advertising campaign intended to raise awareness of symptoms, support and treatment of ovarian cancer. The campaign, called "Turn Up the Volume," was developed by Female Engineered Marketing, a division of Quiller & Blake Advertising of Toronto. The campaign, which is also being used by the US-based Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, consists of print, radio and television advertising that encourages women and doctors to be alert to the potential symptoms of ovarian cancer. The association is currently seeking corporate sponsors to assist in funding the media buy.
