By Adnews Staff
The number of consumer complaints about advertising fell 16% to 764 in 1995, according to the Canadian Advertising Foundation. In 1994 there were 908 complaints. One hundred and seventy were upheld under the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards. Of those, 13 complaints were about gender portrayal 91 related to taste and public decency.
