Trader Media retains John St.

Trader Media of Toronto has appointed John St., also based in Toronto, its agency for strategy, creative and media. Trader Media publishes 60 Ontario classified ad magazines and five websites. These include Auto Trader, Auto Mart, Renters News, New Homes and Condos, Resale Homes, Home & Decor, Employment News, Triad News, I-Sell and Super Shopper. The company also considered Lowe Roche, Venture and Due North in its review. "This is the time for us to step back and take a look at what our brand stands for," said John Clarke, director of marketing and business development at Trader Media. "All the agencies we saw were very good, but John St. not only has a track record for doing great campaigns, they have a strong strategic approach and great team chemistry." The agency is now at work on a spring campaign for the company.
