Air Miles retains GWP Brand Engineering

The Air Miles loyalty program has appointed GWP Brand Engineering of Toronto its advertising agency of record. The firm won the assignment in a six-week competitive review conducted with the assistance of the Institute of Communications and Advertising. It is unknown how many agencies participated in this review. "One of the things that really put GWP ahead of the pack was their proven track record of working with virtual brands, not unlike our own, and magnifying the consumer experience in a compelling way with memorable creative," said Caroline Papadatos, vice-president of marketing at Air Miles. "While they don't have a long history in the loyalty space, GWP's creative speaks for itself." GWP Brand Engineering will begin work on the account immediately.
