New Toronto culinary magazine debuts

A new food-and-drink magazine called City Bites published its debut issue on March 31 in Toronto. The magazine is aimed at "sophisticated diners, home chefs, and wine and drink aficionados," in that city. The first issue contains an interview with novelist Andrew Pyper about his favourite places to get a snack, a story on artisanal cheese by Globe and Mail columnist Leanne Delap and a feature story about the wine cellar of rock musician Geddy Lee. The free, bi-monthly publication will be distributed inside Now magazine, primarily in neighbourhoods downtown. It will also be available at food-oriented businesses around the city. Former Globe and Mail editor Dick Snyder is the editor of City Bites.
