Mitsubishi hires BBDO Canada

Mitsubishi Motor Sales Canada has retained BBDO Canada as its advertising agency. Earlier this month Mitsubishi Motors North America appointed BBDO its ad agency of record. BBDO Canada will handle advertising, direct marketing, interactive work and retail materials, plus media planning and buying. The account will be serviced in Toronto, with support from BBDO Montreal and Proximity Canada. "After meeting with the BBDO Canada team, I am confident that this is the right agency to build our brand in the Canadian market," said Andrew Gray, national marketing manager for Mitsubishi Canada. "They understand the importance of ensuring that the brand is represented consistently across media platforms and geographies." The carmaker's previous agency was Deutsch.
