Segal Communications to handle Peanuts licensing in Canada

Segal Communications of Toronto has been signed as the Canadian licensing consultant for the comic strip Peanuts by New York-based United Media. Segal will work to extend the licensing market for the strip in Canada and find promotional opportunities for its characters. "Segal brings expertise in creating successful marketing and promotion programs for various licensed properties within the Canadian market to United Media," said Doreen Bucher, licensing director for Peanuts at United Media. "By utilizing the expertise of the Segal team, we're confident that Charles Schulz's popular Peanuts brand will continue to extend its reach into the Canadian marketplace."
