Pepsi builds media tower in downtown Toronto

Pepsi-Cola Canada has completed construction of a 50-foot-high multimedia tower at the southwest corner of Yonge Street and Dundas Square in Toronto. The Pepsi Tower, built into the corner of the Hard Rock Café building, is topped by a seven-foot-high backlit, rotating globe bearing the Pepsi logo and flanked by two large video screens. According to the company, approximately 100,000 people will see the tower on an average day. The concept for the tower was developed by Titan Outdoor and executed by BBDO of Toronto and OMD of Toronto.
