The Lions Clubs of Canada has appointed Ketchum Public Relations Canada of Toronto its public relations agency of record. The agency will work to promote the service organization's fundraising and volunteer programs, including the Blind Anglers International Tournament and Recycle for Sight. Ketchum will also seek to increase club membership, raise its profile with young people and promote the importance of community service. "We recognize that to sustain our community support and build membership we need to showcase some of our best activities, which is why we chose Ketchum," said Lions Clubs spokesperson Betty Jean Finlay. "It has the right people and the right processes to help us effectively communicate the important and exciting initiatives that Lions Clubs are engaged in across Canada."
